Being based in a small village, a factor which is of particular importance is the friendliness which exists between members, indeed everyone knows everyone else and the choir is well known for its buoyant social life and afterglows. Testimony to this is illustrated by the fact that some members travel over fifty miles to attend practice evenings. The choir has performed at many prestigious venues both abroad and within the UK but whilst on our last visit to Spain, the choir was invited to sing in the Marian Devotion in the Basilica at Montserrat.
